DAY 100 OF 100 // OMG IT'S HERE!!!! The final da DAY 100 OF 100 // OMG IT'S HERE!!!! The final day of the challenge. And what more fitting post for the final day than sharing the story behind how I started fempowered social. The phrase at the start of the video is one I hear all the time, especially from family members. The truth is, it's not come easy. Yes I had the privilege of being academically gifted, opening more doors than others had. However they don't see the hours of free work I did after hours, the tears I cried in the toilets, the screams I had to hold in and the sexism and misogyny I had to put up with as I built my career. And that's just corporate life! When I started my business there were more late nights than ever, self-doubt, sacrificing family time, burning through money, stressing about money and eventually burning it all to the ground to start afresh. So if any of this ever looks easy - it's because you don't get to see what happens behind closed doors. Thank you to everyone who has been on the 100 days of posting ride with me - I promise a summary video will be posted tomorrow sharing insights, thoughts, feelings and my advice for anyone wanting to try the same.

DAY 95 OF 100 // As adults we get so caught up in DAY 95 OF 100 // As adults we get so caught up in thinking about what we should be doing, stressing about not meeting the expectations of others, or simply worrying we aren't setting up a great example for our kids. But if you took a moment to look back at your growth, what would 10 year old you say to you now?

There's so much focus on 'performing' on social media, overthinking every thing we like, comment on and share. If you want to grow your brand through your socials, you need to rewire your thinking on socials and treat it like how it was intended to be: a space where you could connect with other like-minded people and build your social network. What are you going to do this year to bring the social back into social media?
